Volker, Elizabeth Kelly, of Point Lookout, Long Island, NY. Born on October 19, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY to Martha Byrne Lounsbury of Brooklyn and Darrell Chester Lounsbury of Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Elizabeth attended St. Michael’s College at the University of Toronto as a scholarship student majoring in English and qualified as a high school teacher. She touched many lives with her warm, delightful nature and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her devoted husband Joseph Volker, PhD of Point Lookout, NY, her beloved children, Eugenia Kelly Viner (Husband Brian Viner) of Manhasset NY, and Lawrence Sebastian Kelly III of Los Angeles CA., her devoted sister Alice Lounsbury Burton (husband Grant Burton of Toronto, son Christopher Burton, his wife Ming Tiampo and their daughter Augustine) and Joseph’s much loved daughers- Jennifer, Amanda, Catherine. The beloved “granny” to Carrie, Joseph, Julia, and Logan. Elizabeth enjoyed life and will be missed by her many friends especially at the Berkeley Insurance Company and those from Manhasset and Canada. The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Cecere Family Funeral Home 2283 Grand Ave. Baldwin NY 11510.
