Giardina, Frank P. of Baldwin, NY died after 96 years of good health. He passed on March 31, 2011 after a brief illness. As the head of the Giardina family he will be remembered for his love, faith and charity to his family, friends and neighbors. He was the regional sales manager for the elevator division of Westinghouse Electric Corporation for over 40 years until his retirement in April 1983. Beloved brother to Anthony, May, Dominick, Joseph and Frances, and survived by seven nieces and nephews – August, Paul, Thomas, Ralph, Barbara, Linda, and Koralee – and great uncle to thirteen – Deborah, Dana, Wayne, Janet, Michael, Jessica, Amanda, Lindsay, Charles, William, Kayla, Thomas and Joseph.
The family will receive friends at the Cecere Family Funeral Home, 2283 Grand Avenue, Baldwin, NY, on Sunday April 3 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass Monday April 4 at 10:45AM at Saint Christopher’s RC Church located on Merrick Rd in Baldwin, NY.
