Condolence: Edna, Christine, Catherine and all of the Brown families,
There is an empty spot now that extends far from Long Island, New York… Michele and I are in Bend, Oregonn visiting family and can feel it here.
Gene and I had the opportunity to bond and generate a great friendship that up until the time of another great loss in the family neither of us realized existed all along.
The similarities in our interests, hobbies, habits and behaviors were too many to pass off as coincidence.
When Gene wasn’t feeling well I could sense it from a great distance, and would contact him to let him know that I felt “A disturbance in the force”. He’s ok now, I can tell,,,
Losing Gene’s physical presence is tough but it is offset a hundredfold by the memories of one great guy.
