Condolences

Condolence From: Sylvia Weber Roddy
Condolence: Dear Chris and family, I doubt you’ll remember me, but Jeanne and I were very close friends, having met while at Chesebrough Ponds Inc. We worked together for approximately 5 years, and remained very close after I left while still in NYC. I remember our wonderful visits, either at her apartment in Connecticut or at mine in Woodside. I’ve always regretted our not seeing each other again after I moved to Louisiana in 1978. But I still harassed her as often as I could to get her to come spend as much time as she could manage. So sorry I wasn’t successful. I will always miss our friendship, thought of her so many times during the passing years. It was while getting familiar with Facebook, I prayed we’d be able to connect. It saddened my heart that the only reference was the obituary. As you know, your sister was one of the lovliest, sweetest and most personable friend one could ever have. I’ll always cherish the many times we’d gather around her desk and try to control the raucous laughter. I’ll never forget Jeanne and she will be in my prayers from this time on. Chris, I know how close you two were and I know you will always miss Jeanne, just as I will.
