Past Grand Knight and F.S. of Council 1241 Knights of Columbus and 4th degree member of Pope John XXXIII, longtime member and past chapter president of N.Y. Telephone pioneers. Devoted husband of Philomena. Beloved father of Robert, Nancy LiRosi (Paul), Rose Marie, Marie Avila (Tony), Debra Benson (Jim), Diane, Matthew and the late Jeannette and Suzanne. Loving grandfather of Anthony, Tina, Nicholas, Christopher and the late Grace. Dear brother of Johanna Baitinger and the late Helen Higgins. The family will receive friends Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. at Cecere Family Funeral Home 2283 Grand Ave. Baldwin, N.Y. 11510. Funeral Mass Monday 10 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Lakeside Chapel, West Hempstead, N.Y. Interment Long Island National Cemetery, Pinelawn, N.Y.
